Born in Ballymoney,Northern Ireland in 1967. I have 2 sisters and brother. My parents are still alive and still live in the house I grew up in most of my life. I went to a small country Primary school and then to Dalriada. I eventually ended up at Portrush Catering college and qualified in Catering and Food Prep. After working for a few years I felt God challenge my life of double standards and I went to the Faith Mission Bible in Edinburgh, Scotland for 2 years. Here I came to a deeper knowledge of God and of the faith I professed. Sometimes I think this is where God drew me to himself for the first time, even though for years I had testified to becoming a christian when I was 11 years old. Whenever the exact time was I am not totally sure but this one thing I know he has brought me to Himself and though I fail Him many times I never cease going back to the verse in Romans that says, "..for its your goodness that leads me to repentance."
I also met Robert there and we married on June 13th 1992. What a blessing he is in my life. He really does keep me on the straight and narrow way. God has given me someone who loves me enough to correct me when I sin and encourage me when I am faithful. I love him dearly and pray that God will continue to use him for His glory.
In 1995 after an unhappy departing from the Baptist church in Magherafelt, a Reformed Baptist church was started and it was constituted in 1997. Robert became the pastor and we had a blessed time working with the dear people there for 8 and a half years. We love these dear sheep and still enjoy good fellowship with many of them.
Things changed forever in 2003 when God's call came upon our lives. Immanuel Baptist Church in Sacramento, California called Robert to be one of the pastors. After much prayer and consideration we decided this was the right thing to do. So in November 2003 we packed all our belongings and said our goodbyes.
Five years later we are rejoicing in God's continued goodness and faithfulness to us as a family ( hence the name of this blog) We love living in California and serving God's people here. May we continue to be faithful to Him who has called us.
